We’re delighted to announce that Business Language Services has achieved ISO 17100:2015 certification for our translation services, further demonstrating our commitment to internationally recognised quality standards.
The new certification complements our existing ISO 9001:2015 certification, which has also recently been renewed, and further strengthens the quality framework underpinning the services we provide to our clients.
What does ISO 17100 mean for translation services?
ISO 17100 is the internationally recognised standard specifically developed for translation service providers. It sets requirements covering key areas of the translation process, including translator and reviser qualifications, project management, quality assurance and the processes followed throughout the translation workflow.
Achieving certification provides independent assurance that our translation processes meet these internationally recognised requirements and reflects our continued focus on using appropriately qualified linguists, rigorous workflows and clearly defined quality controls.
Our ISO certifications have been independently audited by ATC Certification, and our current certification status can be verified through the ATC Certificate Web Check.
