This month we celebrate Agata McCrindle. Read on to find out more about Agata.
Agata McCrindle is a chartered translator and interpreter working in English and Polish. Her background is in international trade, law and business, making her well-placed to translate the nuances of legal documents and interpret sensitively in legal settings.
She is a recognised expert witness for translation and has been ISO qualified since 2018, meaning she maintains rigorous professional and quality assurance standards.
Agata has received an award from the Institute of Translation and Interpreting for her services. She has also been recognised by the High Sheriff of Herefordshire and Worcestershire for contributions to the community as an interpreter.
Agata’s favourite thing about working in translation and interpreting is ensuring that people feel heard and understood, especially when the stakes are high.
When she’s not working on legal translations or attending court hearings, you’ll usually find her cheering her daughter on from the sidelines at football matches, offering her time as a listener with The Wren Project charity, or recharging in the woods with her dogs.
